Gentle Parenting in The Light of The Sunnah: Cultivating Gen Z Morality Toward a Maslahat Family

Paradigms of child-rearing styles are constantly evolving in line with the times amid the moral crisis of Generation Z. This study aims to examine gentle parenting from the perspective of the Hadith as an effort to foster morality in Generation Z towards a beneficial family. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive-analytical approach. The results of this study indicate that gentle parenting emerges as an ethical and spiritual response that shapes children's character holistically through consistent love, justice, the cultivation of manners and noble character, and the sharing of inspiring stories from the Prophets and Islamic figures that touch the emotional and affective dimensions of children. When grounded in the principles of mu'ādalah (justice), mubādalah (mutuality), and muwāzanah (balance), this parenting style not only produces morally upright children but also strengthens the family as an institution of well-being. Gentle parenting finds strong legitimacy through the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad, which emphasize the importance of love, kindness, and setting a good example in raising children. This study recommends that the government, families, teachers, and journalists oversee contemporary Islamic-based parenting patterns in responding to the social complexities of the modern era.

Ethical Education in Scientific Relations Between Al-Kauniyyah and Ad-Diniyyah (Perspective Al-Kilani on Islamic Education)

Majid 'Irsan Al-Kilani's work explores the harmony of Islamic education in the connection between diniyyah and kauniyah understanding of Islamic educational politics. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach and library research methodology, which consists of data collection or scientific works related to the object of research or collection, with library data to address problems whose primary focus is on the critical and in-depth study of the centeraka material concerned. The study's findings show that: (1) the problem of desire (iradah) and individual exploratory ability are the foundation of Islamic education; (2) the relationship that Al-Kailani established is based on the Kauniyah experience, the experience of al-ijtima', and the experience of religion; and (3) Al-Kailani's Islamic educational political thought is applicable to education in Indonesia in order to enhance and progress civilization.

Pendidikan Multikultural Berbasis Khittah NU 1926: Dinamika Sosio-Keagamaan di Pondok Pesantren Nuhiyah Pambusuang

This study aims to examine the implementation of Khittah Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) 1926 values in multicultural education at Pondok Pesantren Nuhiyah Pambusuang, West Sulawesi. Amid the growing phenomena of religious intolerance and exclusivism, NU-affiliated pesantren hold a strategic position in fostering moderate Islamic values that align with the dynamics of a pluralistic society. Employing a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, this study collected data through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the core values of Khittah NU 1926 tawasuth (moderation), tasamuh (tolerance), tawazun (balance), and amar ma’ruf nahi munkar (ethical activism) have been systematically internalized through the pesantren’s curriculum, teaching methods, social interactions, and religious-social engagement. These values are not merely taught as normative doctrines but are embodied in the students’ daily contextual and practical experiences. The study concludes that an educational model grounded in Khittah NU fosters inclusive, reflective, and resilient student character capable of responding to the challenges of pluralism, social transformation, and the demands of a civil global society.

Evaluasi Autentik dalam Pembelajaran Reading: Menilai Pemahaman secara Kontekstual

Authentic evaluation is an assessment approach that emphasizes high-level thinking skills and students' ability to complete meaningful tasks that reflect real-world situations. In the context of reading learning in English, it is an important alternative to overcome the limitations of traditional evaluations that tend to only measure literal understanding. This study aims to describe the application of authentic evaluation in reading learning and identify the forms, strategies, and challenges of its implementation in a secondary school environment. This study applied a descriptive qualitative approach with English teachers and students as research subjects in a junior high school. Data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation of the assessment instruments used. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model including the stages of data reduction, data presentation (data display), and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of the study showed that teachers implemented authentic evaluation in various forms, such as text summaries, reading journals, written critical responses, and reading-based presentations. This was able to improve contextually students' reading comprehension in depth. However, several obstacles were found, such as time constraints and the need for objective assessment instruments. Strategies such as the use of rubrics and gradual training for students have proven effective in overcoming these obstacles. This study emphasizes the importance of authentic evaluation as a more meaningful assessment approach in learning reading.

Textual and Contextual Approach to Faraidh Science: A Critical Analysis in Determining The Distribution of Heritage Based on Islamic Sharia

Islamic Inheritance law is regulated in the Qur'an in Q.S An-Nisa: 7 and An-Nisa:12. It is often regarded as a qath'i doctrine which gives no chance for ijtihad and must be accepted absolutely. The existence of the Al-Qur'an began to be challenged along with the changing times. According to liberal thinkers, Islamic inheritance law is considered a product of salaf scholars as a rule that tends to be discriminatory, for example the distribution for women who only get a half of male. The study of faraidh in fiqh books is the interpretation of scholars based on social and contextual settings where the social construction of people's lives. Thus, the provisions of the Islamic heirs need to be critically reviewed and re-analyzed by considering the contextual social development of society. This research tries to examines and observe various data sources from various books, arguments, and other written works to find out best practice of inheritance provision. This is library research in which the technique of collecting data is taken from various books, dalil, and other scientific writing. This writing is supposed to answer some critics related to inherit share for man and woman from both textual and contextual approach of faraidh.

Tusalama’: Nilai Karakter Damai Syekh Yusuf Perspektif Lontaraq Gowa dan Implikasi terhadap Bimbingan Konseling

The purpose of this reserch is to explore the values of peace-oriented character in the life history of Syekh Yusuf Al-Makassari from the perspective of Lontaraq Gowa, and to examine how these character values imply for guidance and counseling practices. This research employs a qualitative approach using the Gadamerian hermeneutic method, which emphasizes the analytical process between the parts and the whole in the effort to understand and interpret texts meaningfully. The findings of this reserch reveal eight peace character values exemplified by Syekh Yusuf: nikatutuinna and ningainna (loving and being loved), kamaseang (caring and compassionate), mallaq and masiriq (fear and shame as moral boundaries), paqrasangang matangkasaka (pursuing truth), bantui na tamaka-makai rannuna pagmaiqna taua (helping to bring joy to others), tamasalai (nonviolence), napassamaturuki (deliberation and consensus), and pamopporang (forgiveness). The implications of these peace character values for guidance and counseling services are identified in the core services, particularly in the areas of personal and social guidance..

Teacher Strategy in Developing Students' Good Morals Through Habits at SDI Nurul Qur'an

This research aims to describe the teacher's strategy in fostering students' noble morals through habituation activities at SDI Nurul Qur'an. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation to obtain an in-depth picture of the forms of habituation applied and the role of teachers in guiding and being a role model for students. Data were analyzed through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the habituation strategy is carried out consistently through daily activities such as morning greetings, dhuha prayers, tahfidz, and congregational prayers. Teachers do not only act as teachers, but also become real examples in attitudes and behavior. Through ongoing habituation, students become accustomed to being polite, friendly, obedient to teachers, and demonstrating behavior that reflects noble morals. This strategy also supports student achievement in various aspects. With this approach, the formation of character and noble morals can grow naturally in a conducive and religious environment.
